About the Tuscarora Education Foundation (TEF)

The mission of the Tuscarora Educational Foundation is to foster and encourage life-long learning by promoting and providing educational and cultural programs, projects and scholarships for the student body and staff of the Tuscarora School District. Grants and scholarships are the primary focus of the Tuscarora Education Foundation (TEF), which has been in existence since 1995. Our foundation provides enhanced educational opportunities to students of the Tuscarora School District through the underwriting of grants proposed by district educators.

 

TEF supports programs and projects, and provides scholarships through idea generation from teachers and students. Our foundation aims to complement the creativity of our educators by providing them with resources that are not typically available to them.

 

As pressure continues to mount on public education, the success of foundations such as TEF remains absolutely critical. Districts across the state, including Tuscarora are consistently facing financial woes and rely on the generous contributions from our donors to help provide many enhanced educational opportunities; which otherwise would not be funded. Last school-year, we were able to provide over $13,000 towards grants and scholarships for TSD students and faculty.
